Water Service Laterals

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Federal Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) went into effect in 2021.

Under the LCRR, all public water systems (PWS) in Wisconsin must submit an initial Service Line Materials Inventory to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) by Oct. 16, 2024.

In addition to submitting an initial Service Line Materials Inventory to the DNR, all public water systems must make their inventories publicly accessible, and some water systems must meet Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) and Consumer Notification (CN) requirements.

The Village of Weston DOES NOT have any lead water service lines connecting our customers to the distribution system.  If a customer would like to search their address to see what material type and size of service they have please click the link below.
