2021 Street and Utility Reconstruction Projects

  • October 28 Updates:
  • October 26 Update:
    • Bridge on Ross Ave over the Eau Claire River: Fahrner Asphalt will be on site Tuesday, Oct. 26 thru Wednesday, Oct. 27 (weather dependent) to shot blast the deck patch areas and apply the Epoxy Overlay on the patches. Portable signal lights will be reactivated for this process, and the bridge will be closed to one lane traffic each day during this process. Motorist can expect delays that will be similar as during the past single lane closures.
    • Barbican Ave: American Asphalt will be paving the top mat of asphalt (surface) on Barbican Ave., Tuesday, Oct. 26 on the eastbound and westbound lanes.  They are projected to finish the areas between the medians on Wednesday, Oct. 27. They will be utilizing flag persons to maintain access to the businesses during this paving project.

  • September 8 Update: Fahrner Asphalt Sealers will be resuming work on the Ross Ave – Eau Claire River Bridge starting on Thursday 9-9-2021.They have contracted with a scaffolding company to provide a scaffold that will enable them to be suspended over the east side of the bridge deck, which is required to repair the deteriorated concrete on the east edge of the deck. This special scaffold will require the bridge to once again be reduced to one lane with the temporary signal lights being reactivated. Fahrner is going to work on adjusting the signal timings to enable the Southbound traffic to have a longer green light during the morning rush and likewise with the Northbound traffic for the afternoon rush.
  • September 3 Updates
  • August 31 Update:
    • Scott Construction Co is scheduled to start the application of the fog seal at 9 am on Tuesday August 31st, 2021.Their staff will be knocking on doors starting before 8 am to notify residents of the need to remove vehicles in advance of the fog seal application. The following streets that had Chip Seal applications are scheduled to be Fog Sealed.

      • Canoe St – (Winding Creek Dr to Caleb Dr)

      • Silver Hawk Way – (Riplpling Creek Dr north to Cul de Sac)
      • Antelope Dr, Decoy St, Caleb Dr – (north to Canoe St)  
  • August 27 Updates
  • August 26 Update: Sandy Meadows Sub-Division - Chip Seal Street Maintenance Project has now been completed.

2021 Street and Utility Reconstruction Projects

Planned Street Projects for 2021 include:
  • Reconstruction of the Crestwood Acres Neighborhood.  Streets include: Randy Jay, Rodney, Kirk, Douglas, Robin and E Everest.
  • Apache Ln Utility Project. Streets include Trotzer from the west end to Apache Ln and then Apache Ln north to Estate Dr.
