2026 Pet Licensing
The Village of Weston is reminding residents to license their pets for 2026. Licensing your dogs and cats is a key step in keeping your pets safe and helping reunite them with their family if they should become lost. Additionally, licensing your dogs and cats help to keep your community safe by ensuring that the pet has a rabies vaccination.
The Village’s pet licensing supports the Humane Society of Marathon County as well as the Mountain Bay Metro Police Department which in turn contributes to funding our free rabies vaccination clinic. All dogs in the State of Wisconsin must be licensed annually and have up-to-date rabies vaccinations.
We are preparing for our second annual free rabies vaccination clinic in the spring. In the meantime, take care of those furry friends of yours by applying for or renewing your license. Licensing can be completed in person at the Municipal Center, by mail, or in our payment drop box. We are currently working toward offering an online application with payment option and hope to have that up and running by January 1, 2026.
