Road Construction Update

The Village would like to thank everyone for their patience this past year as we worked through several heavily travelled street projects. Schofield Ave has been reopened to traffic this past week, Weston Ave will be opened up within the coming week and Fuller St should be open this week as well. The Village is responsible for just under 120 centerline miles of road and the 3 projects above account for 3.35 miles or 2.8% of all miles in the Village. Besides the major corridors listed above, another 4.1 miles of streets were repaved around the Business Park, Hospital and on Shorey Ave east of County Road X.

Weston Fall Yard Pick Up 2025 is COMPLETED!

The Waste Management Recycling Drop-off site is still closed at this time. Their driveways and approaches are not yet completed. We will update when it’s available to use again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The Patriot Avenue of Honor is coming to Weston! All area protective service people are invited to be recognized alongside other veterans in the community. The banners will be displayed on Schofield Ave, and are currently $395 until February 2/28/2026. For more information, go to the link below:

If residents are utilizing Styrene Products Inc. for disposal of their Styrofoam, we ask that you please abide by their office hours of Monday - Thursday between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (NO WEEKEND DROP OFFS!)

Updates for current roadway projects:

Schofield Ave (Normandy St to Birch St):
- Week of 11/10: Pavement markings and remaining restoration items to be completed.

Weston Ave (CR-X to Ryan St):
- Week of 11/10: The shoulder will be placed, work on the storm pond at Lindenwood Ct will take place and potentially pavement markings later in the week along with remaining restoration work.

- Week of 11/17: Restoration, pavement markings and other outstanding items.

Fuller St:
- Week of 11/10: Paving of remaining asphalt driveways to be completed around mid-week as temperatures get warmer. Complete restoration, sign installations, mailboxes and other outstanding items.

- Week of 11/17: Complete any remaining work before winter.

Hospital Area Paving:
- Week of 11/10: Paving of Weston Ave from CR-X to Birch St.

- Week of 11/17: Finish Weston Ave if not done, potentially start working on Birch St.
