Weston Farmer's Market

The Village of Weston Farmer’s Market is now closed for the season. Thank you again to everyone who attended, supported the market, and bought local. A special thank you as well to all the vendors who participated and shared their wonderful products, rain or shine, as we celebrated our 20th year of the Market.

Thank you also to the D.C. Everest’s Rollin’ Readers who attended the market every Tuesday from mid-June thru mid-August providing books and math games for children pre-K thru 6th grade. And, thank you to the Master Gardner’s, who worked with children to provide a free gardening experience in July.

Also, a big thank you to Meghan from the Neighbor’s Place, who collaborated with our Market and vendors every Tuesday beginning in late July until our last day, taking the vendor’s produce donations (close to 2,000 pounds) to help fill some of the local food pantries.

And of course, a special thanks to our Market Manager Pam, for her continued dedication and tireless effort throughout the season, to help make the market what it is, and her true love for the market.

It was a great year, and we look forward to another fun and exciting season in 2026, which will be held at Kennedy Park.

Road Closed

***Road Closure***

E. Jelinek Avenue between Camp Phillips Road (CTH X) and Von Kanel Street will be closed to through traffic beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, October 29, 2025) and will remain closed for a few days to complete repairs to the underground utilities and roadway work completed in 2024.

During this street closure, a signed detour will be in place directing traffic along an alternate route which includes Camp Phillips Road (CTH X) – Schofield Avenue – Von Kanel Street. Local traffic will be able to use adjacent side streets to access their properties during the street closure. It is recommended that residents plan accordingly before travelling in the area around E. Jelinek Avenue this week.

National First Responders Day

October 28th was National First Responders Day, a day to recognize and honor all firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, and EMTs for their unwavering service to our communities. We appreciate their dedication, courage, and service, today and every day!

We’d also like to extend a thank you to our Public Works Department, the silent arm of public safety. Whether it’s clearing debris after a major storm, clearing the roads during winter weather conditions, setting up protective barriers, or any other critical essential function, Public Works is always there to ensure government operations return to normal as quickly as possible.
