***UPDATE*** Integrity Grading and Excavating (Prime Contractor on Weston Avenue Reconstruction project) is falling behind on their schedule and will be delaying the intersection closure at Weston Avenue and Ryan Street to the week of August 4th.

We ask that our residents and local travelers be prepared and plan their alternative route for that week and continue to be patient during this temporary closure. Above is a map of some possible alternative routes to travel to your destination while the intersection closure is in place.

Help keep our community safe and healthy by dropping off your unwanted or unused medications at the Mountain Bay Metro Police Department, 211 Grand Avenue, Rothschild.

Weston Acoustic Concert Series for August is Howard Gripp with Palmetto Grill Food Truck serving food while you enjoy the concert. Come out for a night of music and great food!

This concert will NOT be held at the 400 Block, but instead held at Kennedy Park in Weston! Food vendors available, with live music by HYDE.

The event is FREE to attend.

Updates for current roadway projects:

Schofield Ave (Normandy St to Birch St):
- Week of 7/28: Alderson St south of Schofield Ave will be closed for sanitary sewer and watermain work. By the end of the week the intersection should be back open on temporary pavement. For the rest of the corridor, removal of concrete pavement will continue.

- Week of 8/4: Continue work on utility replacement.

Weston Ave (CR-X to Ryan St):
- Week of 7/28: Sanitary sewer work east of Heeren St towards Ryan St will continue. The base between Von Kanel and Heeren will be regraded and prepped for paving along with work in the ditches.

- Week of 8/4: Utility work on the north side of Weston Ave across Ryan St will begin. This will close Ryan St north of Weston Ave. Paving of Weston Ave between Von Kanel and Heeren St is anticipated to be done this week.

Note: Ryan St will be closed north of Weston Ave the week of 8/4 to get the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer installed across Ryan St.

Fuller St:
- Week of 7/28: Continue to install new storm sewer along Fuller heading north from Rogan Ln. Road building has begun and will continue north of Rogan Ln towards Ross Ave as well.

- Week of 8/4: It is anticipated the pipe crew will be moving to the Schofield Ave intersection with Fuller and begin working on new pipe installations there heading then north towards Rogan Ln while the grading crew will continue building new roadway north towards Ross from Thomas Ave.

Shorey Ave Repaving (County Road X to Anastasia Dr): This project is still on hold until work on Weston Ave can be completed through the Heeren intersection.
