2025 Annual Refuse & Recycling Guide

The 2025 Annual Refuse & Recycling Newsletter should be arriving in everyone’s mailboxes any day now.

You will want to keep this newsletter available for reference throughout the year, as it contains information, not only on proper recycling, but also information on all our recycling-related special events (holiday tree collection schedule, electronics recycling events, paper-shred day events, bulk-item drop-off events, yard waste collection, etc.). There is also a useful calendar that shows what weeks are recycling.

If you do not want to wait, or if you prefer to access all this information digitally, you can find it on the Village’s website: https://westonwi.gov/151/Refuse-Recycling.

If you do not receive your paper copy of the newsletter, and/or accidentally misplace it, contact Valerie Parker, Planning Technician, at vparker@westonwi.gov, or (715) 241-2607, and she can get a new copy mailed out to you.

Did you know?? You can check to see if your taxes are paid and print a receipt, click above for the Ascent Land Records website. **You do not need a username and password to view your bill. If you are prompted, click "previous page" in the red text right about the login.

The Village of Weston is accepting pet licensing applications. Applications can be found on the website at https://westonwi.gov/409/Pet-License and mailed to the Village or dropped off at the Municipal Center. If paying with property taxes, please pay with a separate check.

Waste Management will be collecting properly set out Christmas Trees in January. Waste Management has scheduled four collection dates to occur, which will be “route” based. If your garbage is typically collected on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, Waste Management will collect trees set out on January 15th and January 29th. If your garbage is typically collected on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Waste Management will collect trees set out on January 16th and January 30th.

We have discovered an error in our Village Crossword in our quarterly newsletter "The Wire” – #11. down in the clues should be #12. down as you see in the puzzle. The Village Crossword puzzle can be completed by Village residents and returned to the Municipal Center for a chance to win a Weston t-shirt!
