Happy National Voter Registration Day!

September 17 is National Voter Registration Day!  Let’s celebrate this day by making sure that you are registered to vote for the upcoming November 5 election. You will need to register to vote to update your name or address, request an absentee ballot, or vote at the polls on Election Day.

Registering to vote can be done:

  • online at MyVote.wi.gov
  • by mail and postmarked by October 15
  • at the Clerk’s office before November 1 at 5:00 p.m.
  • at the polls on Election Day.

Ballots for the November General Election will be mailed to those voters with absentee requests on file by the statutory deadline of September 19, 2024.

In-person absentee voting will begin two weeks before Election Day. Please check our website in the next few weeks for those dates and hours. There will be extended in-person absentee voting hours two nights per week until 6:00 p.m. and the Saturday prior to the election from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Village congratulates Keith Donner, retired former Administrator (2019-2013) and Public Works Director (1997-2019), who received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Section American Water Works Association (AWWA) on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

During Keith’s tenure with the water utility, two new wells were added, one water tower was built, nearly 50 miles of new watermain pipe was constructed, and over 2,000 new customers were brought online. Keith’s involvement with AWWA included chairing the Legislative/Regulator Committee as well as serving on the Water for the World Committee which included two trips to Guatemala to help bring clean water to communities that did not have it. Keith has always emphasized the public health importance of clean drinking water and set the Village up for long-term success.
