Rummage Sale App Reminder

Just a reminder to all you sellers and shoppers that the Village has a rummage sale map and application that assists in promoting your sale or finding your next bargain.

If you plan on hosting a sale you can fill out a form online. Sellers will provide their location, operating dates and hours, the items that will be for sale, pictures, and any additional information they might have. Once that form is submitted, it will auto-populate to a map that can be used by shoppers to look for sales throughout the Village. IN PROCESS & UPCOMING STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS - (7/12/24)

Jelinek Avenue Rehabilitation (Machmueller St -Alderson St) – Milling of the existing asphalt has been completed.  The first layer of asphalt is scheduled to be paved, Wednesday, July 17th.  The contractor will be working on grading the road and restoration between the curb and sidewalk as well next week.

E. Jelinek Avenue and Von Kanel Street Reconstruction – Work on the sanitary sewer and water main along East Jelinek between CR-X and Kirk St will continue next week.  East Jelinek is closed to thru traffic between CR-X and Von Kanel St.  We will be able to utilize an alternative repair method for the sanitary sewer underneath CR-X so the plan has been changed and there will not be a need to close CR-X for an extended period of time for this project.   

Weston Avenue, Alderson Street, and Summit Avenue – The sanitary sewer and water main on Alderson St and within the Weston Ave intersection have been installed.  Work on storm sewer should finish next week along with the remaining lateral work.  Road building on Alderson should start mid to late next week.
