It's Not Too Late! Please License your Dogs and Cats!

Licensing your pet is a crucial aspect of responsible pet ownership. It may save you some money in the long run. If your dog or cat runs away and ends up at the humane society, you will need to pay a fee in addition to the license to get them back. It will also save a lot of leg work for law enforcement if your animal happens to bite someone because they can look up your pet and know that they have the rabies vaccine.

IN PROCESS & UPCOMING STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS - (7/19/24)

Jelinek Avenue Rehabilitation (Machmueller St -Alderson St) – The first layer of asphalt was put down this past Wednesday.  The contractor is finishing up sidewalk installation and in the process of lawn and boulevard restoration.  Next week will be more restoration work as well as raising then manholes and water valves to their final elevation for the final layer of asphalt.

E. Jelinek Avenue and Von Kanel Street Reconstruction – Work on the sanitary sewer and watermain along East Jelinek between CR-X and Kirk St will continue next week.  East Jelinek is closed to thru traffic between CR-X and Von Kanel St. 

 Weston Avenue, Alderson Street, and Summit Avenue – Water, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer work is being finalized along Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave.  Road building on Alderson St (including the Weston Ave intersection) is in progress.

Business Park Repaving – Curb replacement on Enterprise Way and Venture Circle is nearing completion.  There are additional inlets being repaired on Zinser St as well as Commerce Dr.  Once the curb and inlet work is completed, Enterprise Way (Schofield Ave to Technology Dr), Zinser St (Schofield Ave to Commerce Dr) and Commerce Dr (Zinser St to Ricky Val St) will be milled and repaved.  The repaving will likely happen around the beginning of August.
