AQUATIC CENTER FAMILY PASSES

We can’t believe it ourselves, but the middle of the Aquatic Center season is soon approaching.

Starting this Thursday, July 11th, Mid-Season Family Passes go on sale for both the Weston Aquatic Center and the joint pass that works at both the Weston and Rothschild/Schofield Aquatic Center.

The Weston-only pass is $70.00 and the joint pass is $90.00. Passes are available at westonwi.gov/poolpass and are good for up to five family members.

IN PROCESS & UPCOMING STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS - (7/5/24)

Jelinek Avenue Rehabilitation (Machmueller St -Alderson St) - Haas Sons (Prime Contractor) will work on finishing up concrete curb and gutter Monday and Tuesday this coming week (July 8th and 9th). Milling of the remaining asphalt surface is scheduled for Tuesday the 9th and Wednesday the 10th. During this time, Jelinek Ave from Normandy to Alta Verde will be closed to traffic to allow the milling machine to work without traffic.

E. Jelinek Avenue and Von Kanel Street Reconstruction - Melvin Companies (Prime Contractor) will be moving to East Jelinek Ave and Tower Ridge Place to construct sanitary sewer. Thru access on East Jelinek Ave between CR-X and Von Kanel will be closed starting July 8th. Work will then continue on the underground utilities along E Jelinek Ave for most of July. Work within the CR-X and E Jelinek intersection is currently planned for the week of 7/22 which will require all northbound lanes on CR-X to be closed for 1-2 weeks. At least 1 if not both southbound lanes will be closed during this time as well.

Weston Avenue, Alderson Street, and Summit Avenue - Haas Sons (Prime Contractor) has installed new water main along Alderson Street working north through the intersection of Alderson Street and Weston Avenue. The intersection of Weston Avenue and Alderson Street will continue to remain closed for construction so local residents should be prepared to continue using alternative routes to get to and from their homes. Sanitary sewer work should be finished up next week in this area.
