Update: 11/3/2025:
The recycling center at Waste Management continues to be closed. Waste Management still needs their driveways and approaches completed before residents can once again use their driveway.
Please be aware the the recycling center at Waste Management, 5509 Fuller Street, is temporarily closed do to the Fuller Street road construction project.
The reasoning for this temporary closure is due to there currently only being one access point to their property. The concern is with their trucks coming in and out of that one access point, which could lead to a liability issue with the general public also coming in and out of there.
Please understand this closure is only temporary. An option that could be considered, is to take your excess recycling directly to Marathon County Solid Waste Department (a.k.a. Ringle Landfill). However, they will charge a fee for that.
It is anticipated that full access into their property will occur around the last week of October or first week of November.
