FALL Electronics Recycling Event - Sept. 21st

The Village of Weston is teaming up with RecycleThatStuff.com to hold an electronics recycling event, on Wednesday, September 21st, from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., here at the Weston Municipal Center.  See the Event Flyer for more details.

Though there are many electronic items that can be disposed of at this event free of charge, there are some fees that will apply to certain electronics:

Flat and Tube Computer Monitors:  $20 Each

Flat and Tube TV’s 29” and Under:  $20 Each

Flat and Tube TV’s 30” to 49”:  $40 Each

Flat and Tube TV’s (50” and over) / Console / Projection:  $60 Each

Mini Fridges / Window AC Units / Dehumidifiers: $20 Each

Microwaves / Large Copy Machines: $15 Each

Hard Drive Removal and Destruction: $10 Each

Battery Removal Fee:  $1 to $10 per device

(RTS does not accept large refrigerators / freezers / central air conditioning units at this time)


The following items will be accepted at this electronics recycling event FREE of charge:

CPU’s – Printers – Speakers – Scanners – Fax Machines – Vacuum Cleaners – Phones

Laptops – Record Players – Tape Players – SD Players – I-Pods – VCR’s – DVD Players

Beta Tape Players – Electrical Saws – Drills – Calculators – UPS’s – Paper Shredders

Coffee Machines – Heaters – Game Systems – Sewing Machines – Electronic Toys

Most Household Electronics - unless the device contains bateries sealed wtihin it.
